Vianopolis.com - One Year Anniversary

It’s been more than a year since launch of the site Vianopolis.com and we’ve had quite a few alumni’s who have registered. Below some numbers:

215 Vianopolis Alumni
121 Alumni registered on the site.
6 people visit the site per day.
95 Updates written to the site.
301 Comments.

To celebrate the one year anniversary, check out the latest feature added to the site: http://vianopolis.com/mkmap/

It’s a map of the world with each Vianopolis alumni’s location pinpointed. Seems like while the majority of Vianopolis graduates are in the US, there’s quite a few still in Brazil and some even farther out in Africa and Asia.

Please update your address if it’s not the current location where you are at. Just go to http://vianopolis.com/member/edit_profile and change the address there. If you’re in Brazil, just use the city and the country as the address, such as “Vianopolis, Brazil” so that Google can recognize your coordinates.

Don’t forget to update your profile with the latest news in your life, where you’ve moved to, whom you married, and any new progeny.

The Reunion

The reunion was a lot of fun. Thanks to all that made it possible. Lisa and I were out of town until the day it started so were not real involved in it. It was great to participate though and get caught up with what so many others are doing.

the only thing that would have been better was to have more participation, especially from the “over 40 crowd!” Ha.

It is always cool to see how the Lord is working in lives and seeing families growing. Seeing all the little ones made me feel old.

Via reunion is quickly approaching

Hey everyone! The big event is almost here! There are only six and a half weeks till the Via reunion. If you have not sent your deposit money in, now is the best time to do so. Don’t miss out on this once-in-a-blue moon opportunity to get together and “matar saudades!” There will be lots of things to do while at the reunion. Soccer, volleyball, a monster lake = boats, swimming, canoeing, maybe even some skiing = lots of fun, good Brasilian food and of course, a great time of fellowship. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
